Add materials in order to a slow-speed, high-shear mixer. A premix of the dry materials is required to insure a uniform smooth mixture.
Physical Properties: Type---Styrene butadiene polymer emulsion Solids---50+_1% Density---14.02 lb/gal Stabilizer system---Surfactant Viscosity---100,000 cps Performance Properties: Dries thorough at near-freezing temperatures. The styrene butadiene cement may be used in unheated houses during cold weather as low as 38 F.
Rapid drying, one-day, two-coat application.
Superior adhesion to tape and wallboard at all normal temperatures 38 F and above.
Better resistance to rewetting by latex wall primers, better hold-out.
Excellent sandability and tooling properties. |
