The wash-up ink is blended on a high-speed disperser and milled once to disperse any graininess. the solvent blend does a good job of lifting the engrained ink from the rollers. As the press runs, the solvents evaporate slowly, leaving the color in the resin and inert pigments. The wash-up ink is removed with very weak mineral spirits of not over 33 K.B. |
