Operating Conditins: Bath temperature 190-212F. Parts immersed 3-10 min. No water break in rinse indicates part cleanliness. Caustic bath may require up to 20 min. soak.
Comments**: For the removal of difficult soils such as graphitic lubricants used on hot forming of magnesium sheet products, or in fabrication of impact extrusions. Heavy duty alkaline at pH 11 min., caustic at pH above 13.
Wetting agent/0.1 oz/gal* **Anodic cleaning not recommended; undesirable oxide and hydroxide surface films will form, and surface pitting may occur from prolonged cleaning. |
