In the preparation of these polishes, the waxes and solvents are heated to approximately 200F. or until a clear solution is obtained.
The mixture is then cooled with agitation until the first sign of cloudiness after which the mixture is poured into a container and allowed to solidify. It has been found that homogenization of the mixture just after the first sign of cloudiness tends to give a much smoother paste. |
